The Burford Lodge
is located in the seaside village of Ardglass in County Down, Northern Ireland. The area between the Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains is central to many activities from fishing, sailing from the new marina on the doorstep of the Burford Lodge to the international motorsport at Bishopscourt Race track less than three miles away. Most evenings the Ardglass fishing fleet can be seen coming home and with many pubs in the village, a varied and enjoyable stay can be enjoyed. Burford Lodge Guest House has many facilities and is the family business of Tom and Anne Wills with their daughter Annemarie. The Buford Lodge is an historical building dating back to 1820 and was the former home of the local landlord's aristocratical brother George Beauclerk, a bit of a romeo in his day!
The Burford Lodge offers bed and breakfast in its luxurious dining room and the views of the bay are something to behold. The Burford Lodge is family friendly with cots and toys available. In the Burford complex is a hairdressing salon. And when a round of golf at the Ardglass golf club is completed or a fishing trip in the Ardglass Angling boats finished, a nice cup of tea can be enjoyed in the lounge of Burford Lodge.
